City of Maryland Heights Passes Conditional Use Bill

February 7, 2019 - The City of Maryland Heights, City Council voted and passed, with a unanimous vote, a bill regarding Reliant Healthcare (RHC) and National Healthcare (NHC). The bill “proposed for an ordinance enacting a conditional use permit for a nursing care facility at 2920 Fee Fee Road.” This Conditional Use Bill will enable Reliant Healthcare and NHC to move forward with their efforts to develop, build and manage a 16 bed Geriatric Behavioral Health Hospital on the NHC Maryland Heights campus. This will be an addition to the 220 bed SNF that has been in existence since 1995.The project will employ approximately 35 full time employees in a 12,000 s.f. state of the art facility, bringing an increased level of care never offered in this community before. This will be the second facility of similar services that has been developed in the state of Missouri through the joint efforts of Reliant Healthcare and NHC.
